R300 & Superlights Championship

Caterham’s rapid C400 houses a 2-litre, 210bhp Ford Cosworth engine that powers the fat, all-weather Avon rear tyres through a limited-slip differential. Competing at circuits like Donington Park, Brands Hatch GP, Thruxton, Oulton Park, the series is joined in 2009 by the brand-new R300 Challenge, which uses the same chassis and components, but with a detuned, 175bhp engine.
